Between October 2017 and January 2018, and I really can’t believe that was more than a year ago, I did videos looking at the 7 greatest footballers of all time in every position, which culminated in our own HITC Sevens all time 23 man squad and starting XI. Of all those videos, including the final XI, by far the most viewed was the goalkeepers seven. So today we wanted to do a video on the seven best goalkeepers in world football right now, and depending on how many people watch it and what kind of response we get in the comments and on Twitter, we may do a similar format to the one we did over a year ago, going through every position before ending up with our own current world XI. That’s if it’s a roaring success though, today we’re just interested in goalkeepers, who are arguably the most important players on the pitch. To clarify, our seven is based on current ability.
