Look at the awards Ronaldo has never won in his career which Messi has won 9 times

Despite the fact that Barcelona football club struggled the expected heights this season. The iconic Number 10 has been scoring and assisting goals for fun this season. Securing his 7th Pichichi award with 25 goals in La-liga. The 33 year old registered the highest number of assists in the history of Spanish La-liga with 21 assists. I doubt if there is any forward capable of matching this feat on the planet, it will therefore shock nobody that Messi is the European player of the season. With an overall rating of 8.71, Messi comfortably sits above Kylian Mbappe who had a rating of 8.14 in second place by Whoscore( a statistic website). Making the top 5 are Robert Lewandowski (8.13), Kevin De Bruyne (7.97) and Christian Ronaldo (7.82). Interestingly, Messi has been crowned Europe's best player in 9 out of 11 seasons. Following his ridiculously productive season with Liverpool in the premier league Luis Suarez won the prestigious award in 2013/14 season with a rating of 8.43. While, i

Babajide made a Stunning Revelation about the Forthcoming Governorship Election in Edo State

Babajide a veteran journalist, while speaking on the popular program “Journalist Hangout” on TVC news Friday August 7, made a stunning revelation about the forthcoming governorship election in Edo state, says all political parties should shown violence because election is not a do or die affair. Babajide while reacting said “ I have to say I have my fears about these forthcoming election, and I hope my fears does not come past. As we can see the shenanigans in Edo state it is now visible that it is no more Oshiomole against Obaseki, it is now PDP against APC which could be devastating in the light of the politics going on now. Obaseki himself divided the APC, because all the lawmakers in Edo state belong to the APC but he divided them by inaugurating some lawmakers, and refusing to inaugurate others. Right now as it stands 17 lawmakers have decided to align with the APC and just 7 lawmakers is with the Governor. For me I think Obaseki should have averted these problem by just issuing a

Juventus confirm Maurizio Sarri sack after elimination from the Champions League

Maurizio Sarri has been sacked as Juventus manager. Multiple reports have indicated that the Old Lady have cut ties with the former Napoli boss, who joined the club as recently as a year ago after one season at Chelsea. Italian football journalist  Fabrizio Romano tweeted  on Saturday afternoon: "BREAKING - Juventus has sacked Maurizio Sarri. Official statement soon. They'll go for a new manager." The news comes mere hours after Juventus were eliminated from the Champions League against Lyon, winning the second leg 2-1 in Turin, but crashing out on the away-goal rule. Juve had suffered defeat during the first game in France, held almost six months ago, before a Memphis Depay penalty left them with a mountain to climb early on at the Allianz Stadium. Difficult 2019/20 season Star man Cristiano Ronaldo almost bailed out his coach with a spectacular two-goal return, but it was ultimately insufficident to provide the European salvation that the club so desperately desries. Bayern Munich 4-1 Chelsea (Agg 7-1): Frank Lampard's men humbled at Allianz Arena

Bayern Munich humiliated Chelsea in the return leg of the last 16 of the Champions League following a 4-1 victory (7-1) on aggregate to advance to the last 8 of the tournament. The scoreline said it all and it was humbling for Chelsea and warning to the rest of Europe from Bayern Munich.  Penalty  It was the worst start for Chelsea, as Lewandowski was played through on goal, looked to round Caballero and was caught as went down. The flag was up for offside, but VAR had a look and Emerson was playing him on. It was a yellow card for Caballero and a penalty to Munich.  Lewandoski stepped up t take it, he took his time with the run, went high to the right, and despite Caballero guessing correctly, it was inch-perfect.  Perisic goal  Ivan Perisic made it 2-0 for the hosts. Lewandowski had the ball on the edge, he squared right for Perisic in acres and he slotted it past Caballero with too much ease.  Disallowed goal  Out of nowhere, Chelsea pulled one back and it was a brilliant strike. Ab

Timo Werner faces dilemma following new Chelsea shirt number opening from transfer

Timo Werner joined Chelsea from RB Leipzig in June before arriving in England last month. Timo Werner will have another option to consider when he decides his  Chelsea  shirt number, but Hakim Ziyech will also be in the fray. The German international is yet to pick a number since arriving at the club following the completion of his £48million transfer from RB Leipzig. Werner has been at Cobham working hard in training with his new team-mates but cannot play until next season. He jetted in for the final day of the Premier League campaign against Wolves and watched the game at Stamford Bridge. The striker was also pictured at Wembley as Chelsea lost the FA Cup final 2-1 at the hands of Arsenal. Tonight his team will travel back to his homeland to take on Bayern Munich in the Champions League and they trail 3-0 from the first-leg. Chelsea ditch Oblak interest as £50m stopper declares interest in move

Chelsea look set to ditch their interest in Jan Oblak and Dean Henderson and move for a new £50m goalkeeper target instead. Veteran back-up goalkeeper Willy Caballero once again started over club-record signing Kepa in Saturday’s FA Cup final. Chelsea lost the game 2-1 , with Kepa watching on from the bench, as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang struck twice for the Gunners. The likelihood of the 25-year-old lining up as first-choice the Blues next season looks slim at best. Especially with Frank Lampard seemingly lining up his replacement. Man Utd stopper Henderson had been a major target for Lampard, having excelled on loan at Sheffield United this season. But United are keen to sign the England hopeful to a new deal,  as they view him as their long-term No 1 . That led  Chelsea  to switch targets to experienced Atletico Madrid man Oblak, but the Slovenian comes with a heavy price tag. The LaLiga giants would want over £100m for the 27-year-old – a price even steep for the big-spending Blues.
