Zinedine Zidane offered United job
Manchester United have offered Zinedine Zidane the Old Trafford job, Spanish news outlet OK Diario claim.
Former Real Madrid boss Zidane has been tipped to replace Jose Mourinho at United, with the Special One under pressure.
And journalist Eduardo Inda - who works with OK Diario - has confirmed United have offered Zidane the United job, however, Bayern Munich are now also in the running.
He said: “Zidane had two offers until a few days ago: United and PSG. PSG for him would be wonderful and they would put a blank check. The third that has arrived is from Bayern, he has made an offer for next season."
Jose Mourinho has Ed Woodward issue
Jose Mourinho feels United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward is refusing to discuss transfer plans.
The Independent say Mourinho reckons Woodward is dodging discussions about squad investment after a frustrating summer window.
United’s board are reportedly reluctant to back Mourinho in January.
Reservations from some members of the board has led to Mourinho thinking there is a ‘general lack of communication’ on the topic.
Lorenzo Pellegrini deal off
Roma midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini would not be the right signing for United, ESPN’s Paul Mariner reckons.
“Look, he [Pellegrini] is a good player,” Mariner said. “He’s a young player, a very good player.
“We know that if the right money comes in at Rome then they are liable to sell.
“But personally if I’m in the Roma organisation I want to start building a team around this guy.

“He’s a very, very useful player, he’s a good player.
“Whether they would sell him, I’m not too sure.
“But is he the answer for Man United? Is he going to take Manchester United to where they need to go?
“I’m going to say no.”

THE MASCARENE PARROT

The Mascarene parrot was 35 cm (14 in) in length with a large red bill and long, rounded tail feathers. Its legs were red, and it had naked red skin around the eyes and nostrils. It had a black facial mask and partially white tail feathers, but the colouration of the body, wings and head is unclear. Descriptions from life indicate the body and head were ash grey, and the white part of the tail had two dark central feathers. In contrast, descriptions based on stuffed specimens state that the body was brown and the head bluish but do not mention the dark central tail feathers. This may be due to the specimens having changed colour as a result of aging and exposure to light, as well as other forms of damage. Very little is known about the bird in life. The Mascarene parrot was first mentioned in 1674, and live specimens were later brought to Europe, where they lived in captivity . The species was scientifically described in 1771. Only two stuffed specimens exist today, in Paris and Vienn...
