In the light of recent rumours claiming Real Madrid have agreed a deal for Eintracht Frankfurt striker Luka Jovic, the Bundesliga outfit's sporting director Fredi Bobic has told ESPN FC that Real Madrid have not made contact over Luka Jovic.

Luka Jovic who joined Eintracht Frankfurt on loan was recently signed permanently by Adi Hutter's side for €7 million. If Frankfurt decide to sell Jovic in the summer, they stand a chance to earn several times the money they paid for him as the price being quoted in publications across Europe is in the ballpark of €60 million.

Fredi Bobic told ,

"There has been no contact with Real Madrid,"


"For once, I don't have to use a white lie, they really haven't been in touch yet. I know them very well."


It is being claimed that Real Madrid's representatives have already sat down with Luka Jovic's agents. However, the Blancos are yet to initiate contact with the club or make a formal approach.

ESPN claims that several top clubs across Europe are eyeing a move for Luke Jovic and are willing to shell out the asking price. The most prominent name among the clubs that are being linked with Jovic is perhaps Paris Saint-Germain.

Manchester United are likely to provide Arsenal competition in their pursuit of Lyon forward Moussa Dembele as Solskjaer has earmarked him as a top target. Dembele has been hitting the headlines for a couple of seasons now particularly after enjoying a great run in the Scottish League.

Dembele joined Ligue 1 outfit Lyon just last summer on a £19.7 million deal. Now, he could be all set to write a fresh chapter in his career with both Arsenal and Manchester United keeping tabs on him.

Moussa Dembele has scored 14 goals from 39 appearances this season and only 19 of those have been starts.

The Manchester United top brass reportedly initiated contact with Lyon and enquired about Dembele's price. The 22-year-old will be available for £43 million in the summer.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is expected to oversee a massive squad overhaul at Manchester United in the summer as the attitude of several of his players continue to be questioned in the light some recent underwhelming performances.

According to latest reports in Spain, Juventus have been asked to go all out in their pursuit of Frenchman Paul Pogba after being urged to do so by Cristiano Ronaldo. Pogba has been heavily linked with an exit with Real Madrid being the likeliest of potential destinations.

However, the Manchester United academy product who impressed after joining Juventus on a free transfer as a very young player could very well make a return to Turin.

Pogba is expected to leave in the summer if United cannot make it to the top 4 and qualify for the UEFA Champions League. The way things are going, Champions League qualification looks like a distant possibility. Even though United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has publicly backed Pogba and talked down the chances of a possible departure, it wouldn't come across as much of a surprise if Pogba is not at Old Trafford next season.

It has also been claimed that Manchester United will only sell Pogba if they can get €160 million for the player.

Ever since Paul Pogba aired his admiration for Los Blancos the transfer mill has been buzzing and he continues to be heavily linked with an exit. Now, Pogba's brother and has come out and hinted at a potential move in the summer.

Zinedine Zidane has not held back either and has been quite vocal about his admiration of the World Cup winner.

Florentin Pogba told ,

"I don’t know [if Pogba will stay at United].  A lot of things can happen in football.


"I could tell you one thing today and another thing tomorrow. Things are going to happen. Summer’s coming. We’ll see if he stays, if he goes.


"At the moment [all I want] is for my brother to be happy, to be playing like he knows how to say and that’s it.


"In my opinion, he’s done a good job and we can see Manchester are going to have it tough to qualify for the Champions League. We’ll see how it turns out."


Lionel Messi asks Barcelona board to sign Bernardo Silva

Messi is happy with Barcelona's activities in the transfer market. However, he is also aware that the squad still lacks adequate depth and could well do with a couple more top quality signings.

The latest rumour is that the great one has asked the Barcelona board to pursue the signing of Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva. Messi believes that the diminutive Portuguese can provide good competition to the rest of the star-studded line of midfielders seeking a starting spot in Ernesto Valverde's starting XI.

It is also being suggested that Silva is being looked at by Barcelona as a player who can even fill in for Messi in case the Argentine is unavailable due to injury. The reports further add that Pep Guardiola is not impressed by Barcelona's new-found interest in his midfielder and is desperately hoping that Bernardo turns a deaf ear to it.
