PSG President hints at Neymar’s character that won’t be allowed in the club

The president of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), Nasser Al-Khelaifi has spoken out about Neymar Junior’s situation regarding transfer and has consented the release of the star due to his weird behaviours.

Neymar has been linked with a move from the French club after failing to deliver despite signing for a world-record £198million (222 million euros) in the summer of 2017, signing a five-year contract.

His span at Le Parc des Princes has been marred by injury, making him not feature in most matches for the club.

However, the Brazilian forward has been recently hitting the headlines for a bad reason, though. Neymar has been involved in controversies that have since damaged his reputation.

In the recent past, the Brazilian international tainted his reputation when he was spotted punching a fan after PSG defeat to Rennes in the French Cup final.

For that reason, Neymar was handed a three-match ban, a ban many wanted to be extended to stop him from featuring in the Copa America tournament, which is currently underway.

Also, he was reportedly involved in a dressing room incident with his PSG team-mates where almost came to blows with team-mate Julian Draxler following their recent poor run of results.

Nonetheless, the 27-year-old has of late remained adamant that he wants to leave Le Parc des Princes this summer as it was reported that he is not comfortable at his current club.

Many big clubs like Manchester United, Real Madrid, Barcelona among others have been associated with the desire for the star even though Neymar had declared his wish to return to Nou Camp.

A French publication recently claimed that Paris Saint-Germain would be prepared to sell Neymar for a substantial offer, which they call an “XXL offer.”

Upon the rise of Neymar’s transfer speculation, Nasser Al-Khelaifi was forced to come out during his interview with the French outlet and give out his stand. The PSG president said that;

“The players are going to have to assume their responsibilities even more than before,” Al-Khelaifi had explained

“It has to be completely different. They will have to do more, work more. They are not here to have fun.

“And if they don’t agree with this point of view, the doors are open. Ciao!

“I no longer want to have superstar behaviour.”

While the president did not mention any player’s name in his statement, many have termed the statement as targeting Neymar following his current controversies.

Barcelona have expressed their desire to have the player back at Nou Camp.

what is the most frightening thing that you have ever seen happen in life

It’s a man looking over his family during the British Raj in India. There were many cases of cannibalism and he feared someone would try to kill and eat his children or wife. I acknowledge this is a difficult picture to look at— but I included it for a reason. Many people in the US/West aren’t even aware of the terrible famines that swept through India and which are comparable to the holocaust in deaths (an estimated ~30 million people have died in famines in India). This was taken from the Great Famine of 1876–1878, which was far worse than the infamous Bengal Famine. It was caused by a crop failure/drought and was exacerbated by the crown’s export of wheat abroad. In total, 5.6 - 9 million people died (it’s hard to get exact figures). And within huge statistics like these, are forgotten stories. These are individuals and families, who slowly faced the despair of knowing they had no food and would have no food in the near future. They faced the horror of knowing there was ...
