Just In: Jegede unveils running mate for Ondo guber poll


Olumide Ogunje has been picked has the running mate to PDP candidate in the October 10 governorship election in Ondo state, The Precision NG can authoritatively report.

Ogunje is from Irele and Senior Legislative Aide to Rep. Ikengboju Gboluga who many believed will be picked as Jegede’s running mate.

The name of Ogunje is contained in the provisional names of candidates and their deputies as released by INEC on Friday, July 31 and obtained by The Precision NG.

Though the INEC rule still provides for name substitution before August 18, 2020, the party or candidate must submit a name as deputy to INEC which has now been published today Friday, July 31.

Uche Secondus, National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has insisted that Nigeria currently has no direction. Secondus made the remark while stressing that the country needed truthful and honest leaders.
